LAS VEGAS - Magician Jackson Rayne officially broke the Guinness World Record for the fastest escape from a regulation strait jacket on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009, at 3:30 p.m. in the Entertainment Arena at G2E, the Global Gaming Expo, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The previous world record of 10.19 seconds was established by an Italian magician on May 29, 2009 in Foggia, Italy.
Jackson's unofficial time was clocked at 7.75 seconds. After further review by Guinness, Jackson's official time was determined to be an amazing 7.26 seconds.
